The Leap Years

I had 2 weird dreams last night. The first dream was about getting quests and doing my best to complete them while the second one was retardedly stupid (no, I am not saying it). The first dream was probably associated with too much game play (Oops) but no, I was not in costumes like in games where you wear ridiculously cute or skanky armours. I was in my home clothes actually. =/

Dreams are nice. I remember times where the dream was so good and when reality slaps itself harshly on my face, I'd wave it away and try to get back to sleep in hope of a continuation to the dream. But sighs, you can't dream forever, right?

Reality IS harsh. Anyways.

Call us slow, woman and I finally watched "The Leap Years". That movie is a real tear jerker but we both couldn't help laughing at the older in-coma version of Jeremy. The younger one was acted by Ananda Everingham, whom is also my new found love (TEEHEE). When he first appeared on screen, I swooned and was like:"OoheMGee, he looks like Orlando Bloom!"

He does look like Orlando Bloom, no? But, no worries Orlando, you will always be my number 1. HUAHUAHUAHUAHUA.

After the movie was ice cream @ Swensens and aimless walking.

Headed off to Esplanade to just slack then woman decided to buy cake for her boyfriend (she told me because he was always complaining of hunger but I just saw her blog and it says it was an excuse to see him roflmao tsk tsk tsk).

I'm stuck to watching "I shouldn't be alive". Heh!

Nostalgia

Oh yes, it's the usual I-didn't-blog-for-too-long-so-I-am-compling-the-events together time. Gomenasai, but.. Oh wait, there is no but. HA! Sometimes my laziness just gets the better of me.

Some friends of the bridegroom thought that it was only courtesy to wake 2 blocks of elders, adults, teenagers, children, babies, whoever, to announce that his friend is getting married and we should all give him our blessings by starting the car horning chain reaction. Well, one word for you all.

A**HOLES.

Pardon moi. But seriously, it was a freaking 0900 in the morning. What, you expect us to say:"AWWWWW LOOK! He's getting married! Well, congratulations! Even though your friends woke us up, we will give you our blessings and may you become a dad soon and blah blah blah blah."

Well, HELL NO.

Here we are, warm in our beds and there your friends are, popping at our dream bubbles. And puh-lease, this is the 20th Century. No one does that anymore. The bride had better be pretty or else.. Or else.. Or else.............. *Pauses* YOU KNOW WHAT I'LL DO! *Pauses once more* YEAH!

I was supposedly supposed to meet Ribs (Georgeriana, but Ribs sounds better) at Marina Square (she was working at the IT fair) for lunch but it became a lunch cum dinner thing because I was hooked on the computer and my butt refused to move from the seat (bad excuse, I know). Ate at Shokudo. Watashi wa ichigo ice-cream ga totemo suki desu~

Don't ask me why but I suddenly have this thing for strawberries. It almost feels as if someone brainwashed me and tells me "Ichigo FTW (For The Win, it's a game language thing)!" over and over again. Like a mantra, you know you know. Oh wait, I think I remember someone hovering over me holding a staff with a gargantuan strawberry on it.........

Anyways, sped off to Bugis to visit woman as well as take some stuff from and for her but they all ended up becoming mine (HEE).

Sped off again for class gathering @ Rachel's place. She had booked the function room and it was pretty cool, best attendance I'd ever seen in my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! *Coughs* Pardon me, I'm a little high at the moment. Koyukoto, it was fun to see everyone again. There were photo takings, mini talks, singing and some other nonsensical stuff.

Awwwwwww, shimata. I hate goodbyes.

This time, I had fake eyelashes on. ._. Oh oh oh oh, and ain't her cousin kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiii? I have this photo of her hugging the teddy bear like a little girl would and it was terribly cute. I hate little kids. =/

And we swung off to Marina Square again. We heart Marina Square (lol).

School's OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! =D

Exams are finally over and I've set my mind on enjoying the holidays after sleeping for just 2 hours a day, all in an effort to cram more of POM, Business Statistics, Microeconomic, Marketing Findamental and Accounting's theories and formulaes into my teeny weeny brain. Whoosh!

End of exams always calls for a celebration. Our class guys way of celebrating the end of exams is to go straight home to sleep =/ While us girls have a life and went to catch a movie (Fool's Gold) and shop of course.

Met up with Carin, Png Shi and Faris (Miss you all!) at about 7:20PM and went over to Victoria Concert Hall for Elysium, a production by MJC dance society, to give support to Roxanne who choreographed a dance (you go girl!) and to watch the performances of course.


Jiehui, Leroi, Marcus and Aaron were there too. The dances were awesome, especially by Trademark, guest performance by Nanyang Polytechnic. And Roxanne, you did a superbbbb job on the choreographing! Finally you can relax yeah?

Went Simpang with Carin, Leroi, Faris and Aaron. As the only polytechnic student there, I get to hear about the horrible life in JC and Aaron dropping out of MJ and studying pschology in TP. Roflmao. Tutorials, lectures, truckload shit of homework and tests while here I am, exam's over and enjoying my holidays.

Anyway guys, JIAYOU for your "A" levels!

Met up with Lynnette for some Chinese New Year shopping and once again, we were having we-are-getting-old talk. What interest us last time doesn't appeal to us anymore. LOL.

I wanted to watch a movie so we planned to buy movie tickets before shopping so we went over to Marina Square, got lost a bit (I can't believe that we did), found the place, bought movie tickets (27 Dresses) and went shopping. I am turning into a very indecisive person.

"27 Dresses" is a very nice show. 'Nuff said.

• Stayed up all the way till 5am to complete Principles of Management (POM) report.
• Had 4 hours of sleep, woke up and prepared to go for accounting tutorial.
• Tutor got on everyone's nerves today. (她好像吃了火药)
• Went for Japanese lecture (for the 1st time) and because we didn't bring out lecture notes, we weren't given this blue slip which marks our attendance for the lecture becasue the paper was to be submitted to our tutor, 浪费我的时间.
• Skipped accounting lecture to study for accounting class test (whatta irony) in the libary with the rest and I tell you, I "love" accounting.

Accounting class test was supposed to start at 7pm in LT 20 but it was dragged till 7.20pm because of some printing errors. The paper that was printed for the whole of LT 20 had pages 2 and 4 missing. Question one was missing and page 3 started with question 2 (Write out the Loss and Appropriation Staement for the year ended blah blah blah). Tell me, how are you supposed to do question 2 with no statistical data. 5th page was a template with no question. So we had to wait till they reprinted the paper for us then we could start.

Genius.

STRESS

I've received the e-mail about "Bill Gates Sharing His Fortune" one too many times.

Just a note, when you receive emails that are almost too good to be true, google it. It took me just about 10 seconds to know it's a hoax. Worse thing is, some people actually said they received some certain amount in their bank accounts which is kinda dumb actually. ',......,'

Alright, serious blogging.

Finally, microeconomics project will be officially over tomorrow. The report's done so we're just left with the presentation part which would be done tomorrow. HURRAY! That'll be something all of us are looking forward to. =D

Marketing will be completed by tomorrow too (WHOOT WHOOT).

Well, I got back my Business Statistics and Principles of Management paper and though I passed them both, the marks weren't all that great. I needa buck up for end-of-semester exam. Ganbarimasu!

Oh oh oh oh. Last thursday I had my Japanese test and I freaking thought that shiro was black when in actual fact, shiro meant white. Even Lynnette knows it's white and I feel so ku-ku now talking about it (lol).

Dangggggggggg. Talking about Japanese makes me wanna go Japan. =((((((( First place I'll choose to go is Osaka because of the food. =X Then to Akihabara (or Otaku town) for them anime figurines. Anyway, Otaku means "someone who loves manga and anime fanatically". I love manga, I love anime but definitely not fanatically.
