New Divide / CMMA 2009

Transformers 2 after dance with dance mates on Sunday!

As usual, we had a hella good time whenever we're out.

You can never tell, but they're both in their late twenties.

Everyone should watch Transformers 2! Haha! It was GREATTTTTTT. So darn long since I've watched a decent movie. The movie certainly didn't disappoint me. Love all the action that was going on and not one part was boring. Long movie, yes, but I was so engrossed in it I didn't care.

And there was Communicasia 2009 from 16 June till 19 June (I know, old news).

Jikai, Hongxiang, CK, Aaron, Melody and Junhui were working for CMMA too! Actually we signed up together and they became the directional people and I, in data entry.

It was supposed to be work but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Loads of fun and the food they provided wasn't so bad!

My job was kind of slack and I ended up making personalised cards with my colleagues using the card printer for ourselves and all of us have the VIP tags =X

Junhui and I!

All the data entry people in Hall 3! =D

Oh yeah, I became Jane Ong for the duration of the event because they didn't print out my name and I had to take someone else's tag -_-"

Why, hello Jane!

Ultimate speeches!

I had a field day talking with Joanne, Vanesa & Junhui today.
Freaking awesome.

I bet that family sitting behind us was listening to every word we said, we were kinda loud and agitated to care. And I seriously don't care what those adults might think, I do believe that they are never always right.

A little procastinating and a little gossiping does the trick.
I'm feeling rejuvenated, totally. Put on some soft music please and to Fantasy I shall float.

Time & time again, you got me.

American Cowboy - Jada

I will update, soon, I PROMISE! =P

Lemme share my favourite song at the moment. It makes me wanna GROOVEEEEEE and the Jada girls are.. Wow.

"American Cowboy" Music Video

I’m here to control your life
Go in and outta your life
Maybe just raise up the price
And drive u crazy
I’m here to control your life
Go in and outta your life
And if I give u a slice I’ll drive u crazy

And everything that you like
We'll do it my way
And everything that I like
Will stay the same way
And if you’re willin to pay
I'll let u change me for one day
Baby baby baby baby baby baby

( Chorus )
I know
You know
I’m sexy
What would u do would u sacrifice it all for me
How would u like if I woo yeah
I need an all American cowboy
Ah ah ah ah ah oh I’m too much for you boy
Ah ah ah ah ah oh I’m too much for you boy

I ain't in here snappin' fo sho
You can ask all these guys
When my booty clap it's a go!
And you'll see something so nice
Your jealous girlfriend can't faze me
Aint my fault you can’t control your lady

And everything that you like
We’ll do it my way
And everything that I like
Will stay the same way
And if you’re willin' to pay
I’ll let u change me for one day
Baby baby baby baby

(( Chorus ))

Hold up wait a minute let me put my Jada to it
Watch how I game it I can fake it but you’ll still like it
Max out your pocket
And if you wanna rock it
Add my name to your house title
Baby I don’t settle for little

I know
You know
I’m sexy
What would u do would u sacrifice it all for me
How would u like if I woo yeah
I need an all American cowboy

(( Chorus )) x 2

Quick, COVER ME!

Decided to head for dance on Wednesday, leaving the studio at around 11pm because some stayed back to practice for the upcoming Stardust competition.

Had supper like we always do and headed off to The Cathay to catch the 11:50pm movie, State of Play with Clarence, Amelia and Carin. Super awesome to have friends who drives and has a car, that would be Clarence.

State of Play

The movie is..
I wouldn't say that it's bad but it did almost put me to sleep. I got the storyline, no problems, anyone could have understood it. The movie is pretty political and I couldn't bring myself to listen to the political stuff. 3 simple words. Can't - Understand - Shit. But I think the movie would work out nice for those who enjoys watching politicians mess up, coupled with internal scandals and conspiracies.

After the movie..
We wanted to throw the cup of ice lemon tea at the poster outside the cinema and kick it down. Haha! In the end, we started imitating gun men going "COVER ME" around the mall, carpark and hiding behind pillars. ROFLMAO. It was ridiculously funny.

Clarence drove us all home and made sure we were safe before he drove off. THANKS DUDE!

Love your car!
Speeding along the highway in the early morning at 120km/hr and putting our hands up through the sun roof while blasting music and laughing without a care is a greattttttttttt feeling.

These Small Hours

Had Jive & Tango on Sunday and I was super late for the Tango part. Before I even learnt the new routine, "helpful" Clarence pulled me to dance. Total question-mark face moment. I had no idea what I was doing, I just let him lead me which he had fun doing.

Jive was nuts. The American spin turn is crazy. Sorry ah John, I must have crippled your awesome dancing capability to try and lead me.

Went to watch a couple of movies with Ziliang @ the new Bugis mall after dance. The place is still relatively empty with nothing much to see, yet.

Night at the Museum 2

Okay, it's just my personal opinion but I didn't think it was as good as what everyone said it was. Kah Mun Rah makes me want to sleep. He really almost did. But I do like the scences with the cupids, Einstein bobbleheads and Darth Vadar with Oscar the Grouch. Yeah, that's all.

Ending was sweet, period.

Terminator Salvation

It had a really good start and I love love love Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright. Star is adorable! I was really thinking it was a good movie till the ending. The narration/voiceover at the end said,"Skynet is still going strong globally......" I stared blankly at Ziliang and he stared back with the same confused face. Actually, that's cos we didn't know there's gonna be a sequel to it. Hahahhaha!

But the movie itself is pretty good. The sound system in the theatre could tone down a bit though. It was super LOUD.

That theatre I was in was FREEZING. I had on my jacket and Ziliang had to pass me his halfway through and even with 3 layers of clothes, I was still shivering @.@

LOL, he couldn't tell the difference between Transformers and Terminator. We saw a trailer for Transformers during Night at the Museum advertisement part and he said he hasn't watched it and I told him because it isn't out yet.

He: No, it's out already what!
I: Noooooo.
He: It's the salvation one right?
I: That's Terminator la!
He: No what?
I: Yes what? Eh wait..
In the end, he managed to confuse me too -_-"
Eh guy, big difference leh!

5 Papers Down!

Mid-semester tests were finally over since friday and naturally, we went out after the paper ended. Uh, that would be Cheewan, Ronelle, Charmaine, Vanesa and I!

Headed off to Chinatown (visited aunty Mary!) to search for Vanesa's heels but it wasn't there anymore. Then we started talking about dimsum and 糖水and got us (actually, me only) all hyped up and went searching for this store which Cheewan said was super good and it IS good.

We ordered this almond ice thingy which we all shared and oh boy, Vanesa and I couldn't stop digging into it. Plus, it was a super hot day and it was like tasting a bit of heaven after the first spoonful.

*Contented sigh*

And what is dessert without 杨枝甘露! Ah shoot, sudden craving!! ._.

Cheewan and Charmaine left early, leaving Ronelle, Vanesa and I heading off for Bugis to jalan jalan. Bought some stuff, had dinner at Soup Spoon before they headed home and I, for dance.

After dance (it was suddenly so intensive my legs ached), I went off to Simpang Bedok with Junhui, Benneth and Xinquan (who were just nice in the vicinity) for supper where we also met up with Jikai and Hongxiang.

Halfway through some mee goreng & roti john, someone suggested we go over to 85 to eat instead so after the meal, we went (minus Benneth & Xinquan) towards 85. We somehow got our directions mixed up, went round the private estates and walked a full 40 - 50 minutes before we reached 85.

@.@

Reached 85 dead tired. Hongxiang ordered Heinken and a bottle for Jikai. Canned drinks for Junhui and I.

Was awfully tired and I tried super hard to keep myself awake while sipping deliciously cold Pokka green tea (that's what happens when the weather's too hot, I tend to exaggerate the cold drink a bit).

Walked home.
Bathed.
Knock-out.

End of story.
